This summary is here to help you understand; only the full text below is binding.
1. Who are we?
KasoLife is a platform that allows anyone to publish content and be paid directly by their audience. It is operated by KasoLife SARL, a company incorporated under Cameroonian law with its registered office in Douala, Cameroon. Contact: legal@kasolife.com.
2. Definitions
- User: any person who has a KasoLife account.
- Lifer: a user who publishes content or offers services (live streams, private sessions, custom requests).
- Fan: a user who views, buys or supports a Lifer’s content. The same person can be both a fan and a Lifer.
- Content: photos, videos, texts, messages, live streams and any other material published on KasoLife.
- XCON: the internal unit of account used to display balances and prices (see the Financial Terms).
3. Acceptance and amendment of these Terms
By creating an account or using KasoLife, you accept these Terms of Use, the General Financial Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
We may update these terms (new features, legal obligations). Any significant change is announced in the app or by email at least 15 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use KasoLife after that date constitutes acceptance; you may also delete your account before then.
4. Access requirements: 18 years minimum
KasoLife is strictly reserved for adults (aged 18 and over) with full legal capacity. When you enter the site, you confirm on your honour that you are 18 or older. The identity verification required for financial transactions makes it possible to check this. Any account belonging to a minor is closed immediately.
5. Your account
- Registration is free. You provide accurate information (username, country, phone number) and keep it up to date.
- One account per person. An account is personal: it may not be lent, sold or managed on behalf of another person.
- You keep your password and codes safe. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication (Profile → Security). Any action carried out from your account is deemed to have been carried out by you, unless you have reported to us that your account was hacked.
- The KasoLife team will never ask you for your password, your Mobile Money PIN or a payment by private message.
6. Becoming a Lifer
Any user can become a Lifer, with no application and no minimum number of subscribers: publish for free or for payment, go live, and offer private sessions and custom requests. The Lifer area is accessible from “My Space” or the account menu.
The influencer status, granted by KasoLife, additionally gives access to promo code management. No other right depends on it.
To receive their earnings payout, a Lifer must have completed identity verification (section 7).
7. Identity verification (KYC)
Identity verification is mandatory to deposit money, make a withdrawal and receive an earnings payout. It is carried out online by our specialised partner (official identity document and facial recognition). It protects the community against fraud, identity theft and access by minors. KasoLife may request a new verification if in doubt.
8. Lifer commitments
- You only publish content you have created yourself or for which you hold all the necessary rights (images, music, trademarks).
- Everyone who appears in your content is an adult and has agreed to be filmed and to its distribution, including paid distribution. You must be able to prove this on request.
- Paid content matches its description, thumbnail and title. Misleading a fan about what they are buying is prohibited.
- You deliver the custom requests you have accepted, in compliance with these rules.
- You never ask a fan to pay you outside KasoLife and you do not publish your personal payment details.
- You choose the category that genuinely matches your content.
- You declare your income and comply with your tax and social security obligations in your country.
9. Permitted content and the Mature category
KasoLife welcomes all talents: music, dance, comedy, cooking, fashion and beauty, fitness, coaching and training, art, gaming, business, everyday life… Content is organised by category.
The Mature category is reserved for content intended for adults without explicit nudity: sensuality, lingerie or swimwear, adult humour and discussions, relationship advice. The rules in section 10 apply to it in full.
10. Prohibited content
- Any content involving a minor or depicting a minor in a sexualised way: zero tolerance, account closed and immediate report to the authorities.
- Explicit nudity and the depiction of sexual acts, including in the Mature category.
- Any content showing a person without their consent, or distributed without their agreement (including intimate images), as well as blackmail involving the threat of distribution.
- Real violence, cruelty to animals, glorification of terrorism, and incitement to hatred or discrimination (origin, ethnicity, religion, sex, disability, orientation…).
- The promotion of drugs, weapons, illegal gambling, scams, pyramid schemes or fake investments.
- Content you do not hold the rights to (films, matches, protected music used as the main content, other people’s works).
- Dangerous false information (health, elections) and any content that is illegal under Cameroonian law or the law of the user’s country.
11. Prohibited behaviour
- Harassing, threatening, insulting, humiliating or blackmailing another user.
- Publishing other people’s personal information (phone number, address, workplace).
- Requesting or accepting a payment outside KasoLife for content or a service offered on the platform, or encouraging anyone to do so.
- Recording, capturing, downloading, reselling or redistributing a Lifer’s content, live stream or private session.
- Creating multiple accounts, impersonating a person or a Lifer, or posing as the KasoLife team.
- Using bots, scraping content, or circumventing paywalls, watermarks or security measures.
- Sending spam or malicious links, or manipulating counters (fake subscribers, circular purchases).
12. Purchased content: what you can do with it
Buying content or subscribing gives you a personal, non-transferable right of access to view it by streaming on KasoLife (“My purchases”) for as long as your account is active. You are not buying the content itself: you may not download, share or resell it.
To protect Lifers, the images you view carry a visible and invisible watermark containing the identifier of the account viewing them and the date. In the event of a leak, KasoLife can identify the account from which the content was distributed, close it and pass the information on to the Lifer concerned or to the authorities.
13. Intellectual property
Lifers remain the owners of their content. By publishing it, a Lifer grants KasoLife SARL a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence, limited to what is necessary for the operation of the service and for the duration of publication: to host, convert (formats, compression) and display it to authorised users, and to generate thumbnails and previews (for example the first 2 photos of a paid album or a video excerpt) as well as previews of shared links.
KasoLife does not use your content in its advertising campaigns without your explicit consent. The licence ends when you delete the content, subject to access already purchased by fans and to technical backup copies kept for a limited period.
The KasoLife brand, logo and app belong to KasoLife SARL and may not be used without authorisation.
14. Live streams and private sessions
- Live streams and private sessions (Private Show, Private Chat, Cam2Cam) are not recorded by KasoLife. Participants undertake not to record or capture them.
- In Cam2Cam, the fan’s webcam must be switched on: the Lifer may refuse or end a session if it is not.
- Both the Lifer and the fan may end a session at any time; the refund rules in the Financial Terms apply.
- The content rules apply during live broadcasts: KasoLife may interrupt a live stream or session that breaches them.
15. Moderation and reports
KasoLife combines automated moderation (analysis of images and text, in particular using artificial intelligence) with human review. Content may be rejected at publication, hidden pending review or removed.
You can report content, a message or a user to the team via support, providing the relevant link. Serious reports (minors, content distributed without consent, threats) are handled as a priority.
Depending on the seriousness of the matter, KasoLife may: remove the content, restrict certain features, temporarily suspend or permanently close the account, and retain relevant evidence in order to pass it on to the authorities. You can challenge a decision by writing to legal@kasolife.com within 30 days; your request is then re-examined by a different member of the team.
For the purposes of moderation, security and dispute handling, authorised administrators may access any content, even paid or private content. Every access is recorded in an audit log.
16. Money on KasoLife
Prices are displayed in XCON. Deposits and withdrawals are made by Mobile Money through our payment providers Tranzak (Cameroon) and pawaPay (the other countries served). KasoLife takes a 20% commission on the amounts paid to Lifers. All the rules (minimums, fees, refunds, earnings payouts) are set out in the General Financial Terms.
17. Suspension, closure and deletion of your account
By you: you can delete your account at any time (Profile → Security → Delete my account). Deletion is immediate and permanent: your content is removed from the platform, your subscriptions are cancelled and your personal data is anonymised. Withdraw your balance and earnings first: any remaining balance is lost once you confirm (see the Financial Terms).
By KasoLife: in the event of a breach of these Terms of Use, fraud, a risk to users’ safety, or at the request of an authority, the account may be suspended or closed. Except in an emergency or where the law requires otherwise, the reason is communicated. Sums linked to proven fraud may be withheld for the duration of the investigation and returned to whoever is entitled to them.
18. Service availability
We do our utmost to keep KasoLife available at all times, but interruptions may occur (maintenance, updates, network or power outages, or outages at Mobile Money operators). Some features marked “Coming soon” are being rolled out and may change. During maintenance, balances, subscriptions and content are preserved.
19. Liability
Each Lifer is responsible for the content they publish, and each user for their own messages and conduct. KasoLife acts as a hosting provider: it does not check every piece of content before publication, but acts promptly as soon as it becomes aware of manifestly unlawful content.
KasoLife is not liable for indirect damage, for loss of income resulting from a justified suspension, or for interruptions caused by force majeure or by a third party (telecom operator, payment provider). Nothing in these Terms of Use limits the rights guaranteed to you by law as a consumer.
20. Personal data
Your data is processed in accordance with Cameroonian Law No. 2024/017 of 23 December 2024 on the protection of personal data (loi relative à la protection des données à caractère personnel) and our Privacy Policy. It is never sold.
21. Governing law and disputes
These Terms of Use are governed by Cameroonian law, in particular Law No. 2010/021 of 21 December 2010 governing electronic commerce (loi régissant le commerce électronique), Law No. 2010/012 of 21 December 2010 on cybersecurity and cybercrime (loi relative à la cybersécurité et à la cybercriminalité) and Framework Law No. 2011/012 of 6 May 2011 on consumer protection (loi-cadre portant protection du consommateur), without prejudice to the mandatory rules of the user’s country of residence.
In the event of a disagreement, first contact support and then legal@kasolife.com: we will seek an amicable solution within 30 days. Failing that, the courts of Douala have jurisdiction.
